Hometown: Manila, Philippines
Major: Marketing
Minor: Sociology
Santa Clara has encouraged me to pursue my passions and think globally. This summer I had the opportunity to intern at One Million Lights Philippines, an international nonprofit that distributes solar lamps to rural communities. After graduation, I will be working at a digital marketing and creative agency in San Francisco.

Hometown: Littleton, CO
Major: Neuroscience and Ethnic Studies
I am currently doing research on campus into the ethics behind bias reduction strategies, specifically focused on virtual reality! I am really passionate about addressing bias and injustice, mainly focused on bias in health care, and am really excited to be interning at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai this summer, where I will be doing neuroscience research.

Hometown: Folsom, CA
Major: Bioengineering
Minor: Electrical Engineering
My involvement with clubs at Santa Clara during my first year set up an excellent foundation for my overall development and prepared me to earn some great on-campus jobs and external internships; this helped shape some of the best experiences of my life, while ultimately leading to a full-time job offer.
Housing
All students begin the first two years of their Santa Clara experience as members of an Residential Learning Communities (RLC). Each community has a theme, which is broad and not linked to any particular major. RLCs offer a wealth of resources to support your studies and your personal life, such as a leadership team that includes faculty, staff, and fellow students. Wherever you end up, you will find lots of new friends and a supportive community.
Please note that some of these Preview Week sessions will be recorded. By attending, you grant Santa Clara University permission to copyright, use, reuse, and publish any photograph and/or video and/or voice recording taken of you by the University in connection with the event. Additionally, in compliance with ADA/504, please notify us if you require closed captioning on this virtual session at least 72 hours in advance at (408) 554-4700 or admission@scu.edu.
The well-being and safety of our visitors and campus community are our top priority. During your in-person visit, we will be following federal, state, and local public health orders; as well as institutional policies, to minimize the spread of COVID-19. All campus visitors will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide a negative PCR lab test result within 72 hours or a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of arrival on campus. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least two weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna, or after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson. International visitors should provide proof of a World Health Organization (WHO) approved vaccine.
We require all guests, regardless of vaccination status, to wear masks while indoors. We recommend the use of N95, KN95, or KF94 masks for the best protection against Covid-19 variants.
