Michele Samorani
Assistant Professor, Information Systems & Analytics, Program Director for MSIS
Dr. Samorani earned his undergraduate and Master’s degree in computer science from University of Bologna and his Ph.D. in operations and information management from University of Colorado at Boulder. His main research aims at developing and employing data science and optimization techniques to improve efficiency and fairness in health care. Michele’s latest research aims at studying and reducing racial disparity in medical appointment scheduling and was featured on Forbes and cited in a United Nations report.
