Restorative Justice looks toward the future. “What do we want to see happen here so you can move forward in a positive way, feeling that this situation has been taken care of?” The focus is not on punishment, but on repairing the harm, restoring broken relationships, and rebuilding the community that has been damaged by the event. These Three R’s of Restorative Justice form an easy way to remember the essential ingredients of a restorative process.

Welcome to Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries (GPPM)

The Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries at SCU seeks to transform hearts and lives through the engagement of theology and ministry for competence, conscience, and compassion in accompanying others. We are excited to announce that we are now offering a new emphasis in Youth and Young Adult Ministries. There are currently two other emphases available in Latina/o Ministries and Restorative Justice and Chaplaincy along with the general MA degree with no emphasis and the Diaconate Education program. Catechetics is a part of the course offerings in all of the degree options.

Our programs will challenge you to engage in theological reflection, take risks, and take charge. Study what you love with colleagues involved in ministry.
